Riccardo Sinigallia

Born in Rome in 1970, he started writing songs at the age of 12. He established the 6 Suoi Ex band in 1988, writing, playing and singing with them in the self-managed social centres and night clubs at the beginning of the 90s. In 1994 he started working as songwriter with Niccoló Fabi, whose first 2 albums he produced and arranged. He also wrote a number of songs for him, including “Dica”, “Capelli”, “Rosso”, “Vento d’Estate”, “Lasciarsi Un Giorno a Roma”. In 1997 he wrote and produced some songs in Max Gazzè’s album “La favola di Adamo ed Eva”. In 2000 he wrote “La Descrizione di Un Attimo”, “Due Destini” and “Stradecon” (he performed this song in a duet at the Sanremo Music Festival presented by Fabio Fazio). La Comitiva’s “Medicina Buona” album was written and produced in the same year and includes artists such as Frankie hi-nrg, Elisa, Ice One, Francesco Zampaglione and Franco Califano. His solo début was released in 2003 and was followed by “Incontri a Metà Strada”, which was deeply appreciated by specialised critics. He participated in the Sanremo Music Festival 2014 with “Prima di Andare Via” and “Una Rigenerazione”, which preceded his third album as a soloist, “Per Tutti” (released by Sugar). He returned to producing, working on the “Non erano fiori” album of the Roman rapper Coez. He also produced the “La fine dei vent’anni” album for Motta, who turned out to be an indie rock revelation. He is the author of the soundtracks of “Paz!”, “Amatemi” and “Lo Spietato” (available on Netflix) by Renato de Maria.
