Indeepandance

Indeepandance is a giant multimedia project, presented as a global premiere, that combines video art, music, and poetry in a single space and a single time.

For three days, from September 12th - 14th, 2008, a giant spaceship will dock at the Milan City Arena, for a "total" audio-video work in 13 sections. Rolled together they combine concert, cinema, and poetry, but above all, they create an emotional trip through the sounds of composer Vittorio Cosma, the images of the Masbedo artists, and the words of writer Aldo Nove.

Visitors enter an interactive space consisting of a video-installation with 4 screens, each 16 meters long by 9 meters high, and become an active part of the artistic event with their own emotions and their own thoughts, observing, dancing, listening, and existing together, becoming an integral part of the unique atmosphere of Indeepandance.

This voyage touches upon issues of vital importance to the planet, reaching to the deepest feelings of the individual. The project, which involves different artists each evening, closes with a DJ session based on the "Silent Disco", an innovative and unusual form of experimental entertainment. The design for the Indeepandance section was created in part by Stefano Losurdo.
