Vittorio Cosma
Biografia
Vittorio Cosma has been a part of the Italian music scene for over twenty years. Since he left the band PFM, he has produced, arranged, and composed for some of the biggest names in the Italian music business. He has contributed to the success of many new talents.
He has played with Airto Moreira, Miroslav Vitous, Hiram Bullock, Omar Hakim, Peter Erskine, and Jorge Ben.
He has directed the orchestra at Sanremo on numerous occasions.
He is also the artistic director for Notte della Taranta together with Noa and Stewart Copeland. Together with Stewart Copeland, he founded the group Gizmo, consisting of a number of internationally renowned musicians.
He has created numerous soundtracks for cinema and television. He is a Berlin Festival award winner. He contributes in the artistic direction of the Mantova Musica Festival, of which he is also one of the founders.
He has created video installations at Rome, Madrid, Salamanca, Venice, Florence and Paris for the acts and artists Masbedo, Michel Houellebecq and Aldo Nove.
He has composed commercial jingles for some of the world's most important brands. He has always worked alongside the band Elio e Le Storie Tese.
