Dimartino
Singer-songwriter and composer Antonio Di Martino, known as Dimartino, is one of the faces of the new wave of Italian pop music inspired by his Sicilian roots and traditional folk music. In 2020, he began collaborating with his friend and colleague Colapesce, releasing the album “I Mortali”, certified gold. Together, they participated in the 2021 Sanremo Festival with the song “Musica Leggerissima,” a 5-time platinum hit that topped the charts for 7 weeks and currently has over 82 million streams on Spotify. The song also became a success in Korea and Spain with its multi-platinum adaptation “Mùsica Ligera,” performed by Ana Mena. In 2023, Dimartino returned with Colapesce to Sanremo with “Splash,” achieving two platinum certifications, which preceded their second album “Lux Eterna Beach.” Dimartino continues to collaborate with Colapesce while also working on his personal projects as a pop and experimental songwriter. He writes for artists such as Marracash, Arisa, Emma, and Brunori Sas, and collaborates with artists like MACE and Fabri Fibra.
