The main character in the “L’amore non aspetta” ad is Mr Slow. Having spotted an attractive blonde on the beach, Mr Slow runs towards her, in the hope of embracing her. All the scenes are in slow motion, until the end of the ad, when clumsy Mr Slow is overtaken by a strapping youth who takes the girl’s hand and walks away with her on the beach.

“Vodafone: migliore la rete, migliore la vita” [better network, better life] says the voice over at the end. The soundtrack is a revised version of  “Sei Bellissima” [you are so beautiful] by Loredana Berté, which in the ad becomes “Sei Lentissimo” [you are so slow] referring to Mr Slow.
