irossa are a band formed in Turin in 2022. After releasing their first singles, they made their debut in March 2024 with the album Satura, which was positively received by audiences and has reached over 250,000 streams.

Their sound is eclectic and cross-pollinated, shaped by collective songwriting and fragmentary lyrics open to the listener’s interpretation, moving between nostalgic and tender atmospheres. Turin, the city where they were born, often emerges in their music: a discreet yet recognizable presence, running through images, details, and sonic suggestions.

After an intense live activity in Italy and abroad, the band returned in summer 2025 with their second album, La mia stella aggressiva si nasconde nelle virgole e nei punti, a more mature and self-aware project, entirely independent, which captures the band’s artistic and creative evolution. The album was ranked sixth in Rockit’s list of the 50 best albums of 2025.

In May 2026, irossa join the Sugar Music roster and kick off their summer tour, which will see the band perform throughout the summer in major Italian cities and festivals, including MI AMI.

irossa are also among the organizers of Vertebre, an underground festival in Turin now in its third edition, which over the years has involved numerous venues and key players from the Piedmontese and national music scene.
