Lucio Corsi

Lucio Corsi is a Tuscan singer-songwriter, born in 1993 and originally from Val di Campo di Vetulonia. In 2012, after various experiences as a guitarist with local bands, he moved to Milan. In the sprawling city, he decided to pursue a solo career, presenting his own songs in Italian.

In 2015 he released his first two EPs, Vetulonia Dakar and Altalena Boy (produced by Federico Dragogna and published by Picicca Dischi). In 2017 his first album followed, "Bestiario Musicale", a concept album about the animals of his homeland, the Maremma (Picicca Dischi). Also in 2017, Lucio Corsi opened the theater tour concerts of Baustelle and Brunori SAS, and performed across Italy, taking part in various festivals. In 2020 he released his second studio album "Cosa faremo da grandi?" with Sugar Music, produced by Lucio together with Francesco Bianconi and Antonio Cupertino, accompanied by the visionary work of director Tommaso Ottomano. The album was well received by both audiences and critics, leading him to perform as a guest at the Ariston Theatre in Sanremo for the Premio Tenco 2021. Still alongside Ottomano, in 2023 he released his third album "La Gente Che Sogna" (Sugar Music). In this record he focuses on the sounds of 70s glam rock, one of his great passions, while in the lyrics he converses with entities such as darkness, sleep and dreams, reality and imagination. In May 2023 he embarked on a long series of concerts (including opening for The Who at Firenze Rocks) that concluded in autumn 2024.

On November 12, 2024, he returned with the single "Tu sei il mattino" (again for Sugar Music), whose music video features the special participation of Carlo Verdone. He is also one of the protagonists of Verdone's TV series "Vita da Carlo - Terza Stagione", available exclusively on Paramount+, in which the song plays a very particular role.

In February, Lucio Corsi took part for the first time in the Sanremo Festival, finishing second and winning the Critics' Award "Mia Martini" with the song "Volevo essere un duro" (certified platinum), which preceded the album of the same name released on March 21, 2025 and now certified gold. A Club Tour followed in major Italian cities, selling out and anticipating a summer tour of 28 dates, including two special shows in the horse tracks of Rome and Milan.

From May 13 to 17 he participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel representing Italy with the song "Volevo essere un duro", and on July 8 he was announced as a winner at the Targhe Tenco 2025 with "Volevo essere un duro" as Best Album Overall and Best Single Song.

On October 25, 2025, he presented the concert film "La Chitarra Nella Roccia - Lucio Corsi dal vivo all’Abbazia di San Galgano" at the 20th edition of the Rome Film Fest, directed by Tommaso Ottomano and produced by Sugar, while on November 14 he released the eponymous live album. In 2026 he will be engaged in two new important events: a tour in major European cities starting in January, and arena shows in Florence, Rome and Milan.
