Madame

Born in 2002, Francesca Calearo—known by her stage name Madame—is recognized for her experimental phrasing, captivating flow, and songwriting skills that blend street poetry with literary depth, featuring sharp, explicit lyrics.

From the very beginning, Madame positioned herself as a bold and innovative voice with the release of Sciccherie in 2018. She broke into the mainstream in 2021 with her performance of VOCE at the Sanremo Music Festival and the release of her self-titled debut album, MADAME. She has collaborated with many of Italy’s top artists, including Marco Mengoni, Sfera Ebbasta, Marracash, Lazza, Rose Villain, Ariete, Gaia, and more.

Madame is the youngest artist ever to win two Targa Tenco awards—Best Debut Album and Best Song for Voce, which also earned her the Premio Lunezia and the Premio Bardotti for best lyrics. In addition to her accolades for musical and literary merit, she has achieved 53 platinum and gold certifications in just five years, and captured audiences with a sold-out tour that culminated at Milan’s Forum di Assago.

In 2023, she returned to the Sanremo Music Festival for a second time with the song Il bene nel male, featured on her second studio album L’AMORE, released the same year.
