Vale LP

Born in 1999, Vale LP—real name Valentina Sanseverino—is a singer-songwriter and rapper from Naples. Blending rawness and poetry with a bold, unmistakable attitude, Vale LP stands out as one of the most compelling voices of Italy’s new pop wave. Her sound merges hip-hop and singer-songwriter traditions, layered with strong references to pop culture and influences ranging from soul and R&B to funk.

Her songwriting is intense and unapologetically open, embracing diversity and freedom of form through an alternative and honest narrative approach, creating a deeply personal and introspective world.

After releasing a few early tracks on SoundCloud, she gained national attention in 2021 as a finalist on XFactor, where she performed her original song Cheri. In June 2023, she released her debut EP e sono felice, a six-track project chronicling her journey up to that point. 2023 proved to be a formative year, filled with writing, performances (including opening for parts of Madame’s tour), and her standout appearance at Sanremo Giovani with the song Stronza, which brought her to the final stages of the competition.

The track was later included in her first full-length album GUAGLIONA, released in May 2024 on Sugar Music, led by the single Fortuna. That same month, she performed on the iconic stages of Rome’s Concerto del Primo Maggio and Milan’s MI AMI Festival

Later that year, she returned to Sanremo Giovani alongside Lil Jolie with the duet Dimmi tu quando sei pronto per fare l’amore, reaching the final stages of Sanremo 2025 in the Nuove Proposte (Newcomers) section. In March, she released the single Le ragazze della valle, teasing an upcoming joint album.
