Lucio Corsi

Lucio Corsi is an extravagant and unconventional Tuscan singer-songwriter, who was born in Val di Campo di Vetulonia in 1993. He has always mixed songwriting with folk pop and extremely diverse musical sounds. In 2020, he released his album "Cosa faremo da grandi?" (What will we do when we grow up?), an album of 1425 words and produced by Francesco Bianconi and Antonio Cupertino, which is accompanied by the visionary works of director Tommaso Ottomano. Again with Ottomano, Lucio made his debut in 2023 with his album “La Gente Che Sogna”, a manifesto album of Lucio's intimate world, made up of profound details, which received public and critical acclaim, leading him to perform at the Premio Tenco as one of the youngest artists in the competition. Lucio is the artist who succeeds in bringing auteur rock and folk sounds together, transforming his surreal world into poetry and linking a sometimes grotesque world to a musically rich structure.

After the recent releases - “Tu sei il mattino”, the appearance in Carlo Verdone's series, and the Christmas single “Nel mezzo della notte”, Lucio participated in the Sanremo Festival 2025 with the song "Volevo essere un duro", reaching the second place.

His new album “Volevo essere un duro” (certified golden record) was released on March 21st, 2025 for Sugar Music. In April he embarked on his sold-out Club Tour 2025 in the main Italian clubs, followed by a summer tour of 28 shows, including two special events at the hippodromes in Rome and Milan.

With his song "Volevo essere un duro" ("I wanted to be a tough guy") Lucio Corsi represented Italy at Eurovision Song Contest 2025, held in Basel, Switzerland, from 13th to 17th May, marking a new significant milestone in his career.
