Giacomo Mazzucato, aka Yakamoto Kotzuga, is a musician, composer, producer and sound designer from the Sugar Music Publishing roster, among the 10 most listened to Italian authors under 35 in the world in 2022 (Italia Music Export). Trained at the Conservatory of Venice, he has always been active in the Italian and international electronic live scene, and in recent years, expanding his activities as a producer and also becoming a renowned composer of soundtracks for films and TV series, he has been increasingly selected to create the music for the most important events on the international electronic scene, such as New York Fashion Week and the 20th anniversary of the Red Bull Music Academy, in which he participates as the only Italian artist. 

In the recording field, he has collaborated with several Italian artists including Mecna, Dardust, Niccolò Fabi, Galea, Iosonouncane, Anastasio... In the field of cinema, his compositions have enriched numerous successful films and TV series such as “Baby” (distributed by Netflix in over 170 countries), “Tutte le mie notti” (Manfredi Lucibello, 2018), “Sulla stessa onda” (Massimiliano Camaiti, 2021), “Zero” (Netflix, 2021), “La Mala - Banditi a Milano” (Sky, 2022) and ‘“Primadonna” (Marta Savina, 2022). In parallel, Yakamoto pursued the personal project that saw him produce and release the albums “Usually nowhere” (2015) and “Slowly Fading” (2018). 

In 2024, Yakmoto's music was chosen as the opening track for the Gucci fashion show at the Tate Modern: “Fuga” became the opener of a remix of tracks curated by Mark Ronson for the Italian fashion house's iconic show. 

Giacomo has also recently returned to the pop scene, composing and producing Generic Animal last album.
