Tommaso Ottomano

Tommaso Ottomano is a composer, musician, sound designer and producer on the Sugar Music Publishing roster. In Italy he is mainly known for his activity as a director, closely linked to the world of music. He has written and directed many of the most experimental and interesting video clips of recent years for artists such as Måneskin, Lucio Corsi, Jovanotti, Chiello and Baustelle, winning the “Director of the Year” award at the Videoclip Music Awards twice in a row. He also made the original short films “PAURA” for CAM Sugar, distributed by MUBI, inspired by the soundtracks of 1970s Italian cinema. But Tommaso is above all the author and director of memorable advertising campaigns for fashion brands of the caliber of Prada, Gucci, Versace, Armani, Missoni, Bulgari, Roberto Cavalli and Moncler, for which he also handled the soundtrack. His musical talent has led him to collaborate as a musician, producer, composer and art director with various artists of the Italian discography, including Lucio Corsi (for the last two albums), Ginevra and Chiello, whose latest album he took care of as art director and composed with him tracks such as “Limone’ and ‘Stanza 107”. Ottomano’s versatility and tendency towards experimentation allow him to operate on different levels within the creative sector, while maintaining a coherent, unique and deeply recognisable artistic line.
