Giuliano Sangiorgi

Giuliano Sangiorgi is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Salento, frontman and founder of negramaro, one of the cult Italian music groups, historically Sugar. With Negramaro, Giuliano has achieved over one million records sold, 34 platinum certifications, and sold-out concerts all over Italy, with songs such as “Estate”, “Solo 3 Min”, “Mentre tutto scorre” and “Nuvole e lenzuola”. Giuliano has also dedicated himself to composing and writing film soundtracks, including the one for “Vallanzasca – Gli angeli del male”, which earned him, together with Negramaro, three Nastri D’Argento and a David Di Donatello nomination. Over the years, Giuliano has written for several top artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Elisa, Laura Pausini, Fiorella Mannoia, Fabri Fibra, Marco Mengoni, Jovanotti, Raphael Gualazzi, Patty Pravo and Mina, Elisa and also international artists such as One Republic. This year Giuliano returned to the scene with his historic band with singles such as “Ricominciamo tutto”, a song brought to Sanremo and winner of the Premio Lunezia as best lyrics, followed by their radio hit “Luna piena”, which anticipated their next album.
