LA DOLCE VITA: THE MUSIC OF ITALIAN CINEMA it’s a concert-event for orchestras in which the spectator follows a musical path made of the most beautiful and important soundtracks of the Italian cinema. The songs of the concert, composed by Rota, Morricone, Bacalov, Piovani and a lot of other great masters of film music, are all taken from our prestigious SUGAR/CAM catalogue that counts over 2.000 soundtracks.

The performance shows the strong connections between cinema and music.

The original images created by the painter, scenographer and visual artist Giuseppe Ragazzini, will accompaign this intense musical journey, alternating archive images born from the collaboration with the Istituto Luce Cinecittà, and clips taken from the original films. The artistic consultancy is by Giampiero Solari.
