Emilio Munda

Emilio Munda is a certified singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist born in 1982 with a taste for pop and analog music. He achieved significant success at the beginning of his career, writing for Umberto Tozzi in 2008. In 2010, he began to emerge as a notable name in the pop scene, winning an international songwriting competition for Francesco Renga. Munda has written and composed for some of the most prominent artists in Italian pop music, including Umberto Tozzi, Eros Ramazzotti, Michele Bravi, Nina Zilli, and Il Volo, securing with them third place at the 2019 Sanremo Music Festival with the song “Musica Che Resta”. In 2020, he returned to Sanremo, winning second place in the “New Proposals” category with “8 marzo” by Tecla, a song he wrote and composed. Emilio Munda is also making a name for himself on the international scene, bringing his recognizably classic yet dynamic taste, which earned him a gold record in Spain for “Alegría” by Sergio Dalma.
