OruaM, stage name of Mauro Spagnolo, is an emerging rapper from Rome, born in 2004. Raised on old-school Roman rap, Italian songwriting and electronic, his music draws inspiration from the sounds of UK Grime and the attitude of South American political rap. OruaM displays remarkable technical proficiency, unfolding in his intricate rhyme schemes and meticulously crafted metrics, expressing a mix of street poetry and refreshing flow. He has full creative control over his project, crafting not only his bars, but also concepts for photo shoots, music videos and artwork, all from his bedroom. He shares his creative journey with his father, who is his composer and music producer, forming a unique father-son artistic partnership. His recording debut came in September 2023 with his first single “Focused.”
